PORCELAIN TEA SET
This was my final project for my hand-building class at the Appalachian Center for Craft and my first experience using Porcelain. I found a doll at an antique store, popped off the head, and made a plaster mold from it. I attached these 14 slipcasted baby heads to a tea set I had created and used premium gold luster to embellish it. It was fired at Cone 10 reduction. My professor, Jessica Wilson, helped me with this idea.
