HUMAN SADNESS

Human Sadness is a song by The Voidz. It samples Mozart’s “Requiem” in D Minor. The song, I believe, is a requiem for the songwriter’s father. This painting is my visual representation of the song. It’s painted with acrylic on canvas. It earned me the Juror’s Merit Award in Tennessee Tech’s School of Art, Craft, and Design’s BFA Juried Student Exhibition in the Spring of 2019. It was also in the 2021, School of Art, Craft, and Design B.F.A. Student Work show at the Appalachian Center for Craft in North Windows Gallery in Smithville, TN.
