ANIMAL TESTING

These advocacy posters were to raise awareness to animal testing and experimentation. Each one is a reference to a torture scene from a film and is inspired by the actual things humans do to animals. The rabbit one is inspired by a scene in A Clockwork Orange referring to animal testing that happens on rabbits (specifically the Draize eye test where products are put in their eyes to test irritancy, and sometimes they hold their eyes open so they don’t blink it away). The rat is inspired by a scene from Saw referring to animal experimentation that happens on rats (specifically ones where holes are drilled into their heads, and their tails are cut off or their feet). The cat is inspired by a scene from Hostel referring to animal experimentation that happens on cats (specifically one where cats are raised in dark rooms with one or both eyes cut out or sewn shut).
